Eveline Shen cultivates individual and collective leadership transformation. A key leader in growing the national Reproductive Justice movement, Eveline also directed Forward Together for two decades, which became one of the larger multi-issue women of color-led organizations in the country at the time.

Eveline is currently the principal at Leading Courageously, where she teaches her Courageous Operating System to help leaders of color face any challenging situation with courage, confidence, and strength. An award-winning leader herself, Eveline has coached and trained hundreds of leaders from all over the country in the gender, reproductive and social justice fields and the philanthropic sector.

Her work has been covered by The New York Times, Associated Press, The Nation, Ms. Magazine, Daily Kos, and the San Francisco Chronicle, among other media outlets. Her new book, Choosing to Lead Against the Current: The Courageous Operating System for Changemakers, is out now.
